| ALCATRAZ Alcatraz are a proper 'Solid Rock' 5 piece LIVE band, the singer having a very distinctive voice. They have a good following too, with the more hard core rockers!! Their first set is much heavier than their second, singing songs by: Whitesnake, Bonjovi, Journey, AC/DC, Guns & Roses, etc |

BLACK PEARL Black Pearl were excellent. The first spot was a bit heavier than the other similar bands on the circuit and the new lead singer had loads of energy!! He came on in a Kilt which was different! He seems to laugh a lot too? The drummer is Danny Needham, one of the best drummers I have ever seen and quite a showman. (He also plays with the Tony Martin Band). Apart from the lead singer they have all played with the Billy Black Band and Alexanders Palace. Very entertaing they are too, their set list is as follows: Long Train Running, Boys of Summer, Feel like making love, Can't get enough of your love, With a little help from my friends, Painted Black, Wishing Well, Live n let die, You give love a bad name, Livin' on a prayer, Smooth, Best days of my life, Honky tonk woman, Keep the faith, Smoke on the Water. |

| BON JORDI He sounded like him - and looked like him (from the back anyway) and Bon Jordi really got the crowd going. They sang all the songs you'd expect to hear from Bon Jovi, plus a few more rock songs in the second half. He did talk quite a bit though and fancies himself as a bit of a comedian! and to be honest his jokes were quite funny. On the whole they were a pretty decent band. |

| FERAL CIRCUS by Sam Harrison, Royston Get ya hands on ya knees an trash ya head like its 1980. Feral circus is back. This is the greatest Metallica tribute band I have ever heard. It’s always a night to remember. Feral Circus know how to rock the place. Now they have a new lead guitarist Chris, and a new drummer Sam (who I thought was absolutely fantastic), Rick on rhythm guitar/vocals and Gaz on bass (I think this new line up is awesome). The set list is even better now they are playing more of the Metallica classics. Every song sounded amazing and heavier than ever, I think ‘One’ was the best. But the whole set was breath taking. Can’t wait for the next gig! |

| LEEROY JOHNSON & THE FLICKS Leeroy Johnson seems to have found his niche in the music business now! Having seen him in "Johnson" and "Hitsville" he was the youngest member of the bands and he now has a band of his very own. He crammed so many songs into his set, and he didn't speak much in the first spot, but by the second set, he had the audience eating out of his hand and everybody loved them. They were very talented too, the bass and two lead guitars were very tight and an excellent drummer too. Make sure you catch them next time they are in the area. The set was as follows: Teenage Kicks, Honky Tonk Woman, Brown Sugar Blues, Jumping Jack Flash, I can't get no Satisfaction, My Sherona, You really got me, You're Beautiful, I fought the Law, Should I stay or should I go, What a wonderful world, Ever Fallen in love with someone, I predict a riot, Suspicious Minds, Stuck in the Middle, Swords of a thousand men, I'm a believer, Turning Japanese (do you know what that song is about)!!!! THE MENS CLUB What an excellent nights entertainment from The Mens Club!! Glyn still does his hallmark jokes and impressions (Ashley from Coronation St and the drunk in Rita, Sue and Bob Too) hilarious!! as well as a shed full of new stuff from the band too. You're always assured to have a good time watching this dance/party act. Women in particular tend to love this band. Personally I think they all just wanna take Glyn home!!!! They carry a 3K P.A system and an excellent intelligent lighting rig and are without doubt, the most indemand male vocal harmony trio in the UK. All three members take their turn at lead vocals as well as providing superb harmonies. A slick and dynamic show that predominantly features the fabulous music of Motown & Soul - contrasted with high energy pop. A packed dance floor and a great atmosphere are the hallmarks of any NYC gig. | THE PIGGIES Originally formed in 1980, THE PIGGIES were the pioneers of the lookalike/ soundalike age, well before most of the current crop of Tribute Bands were even born. Through constant touring, in the UK and abroad, the band quickly gained a reputation as the most authentic 60s/ Beatles tribute in Britain, with an array of vintage instruments, flamboyant costumes and an attention to detail that, to this day, cannot be rivalled. In 2000/2001 THE PIGGIES starred in their own production ..THE BEATLES REVOLUTION SHOW.. which ran for 17 weeks at the Folkan Theatre in Stockholm perfoming to over 50000 people. They also appeared live on Swedish national TV and radio. THE PIGGIES 'CLASSIC GROUPS OF THE 60's SHOW' takes you on magical mystery tour from Merseybeat to The Rolling Stones Hyde Park concert of 1969, taking in The Summer of Love and Flower Power along the way. Artistes portrayed, both musically and visually, include The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Monkees, Cliff and The Shadows, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan and many more. |
